Multiple religions include Abraham as part of their faith. Abraham's own beliefs involved a struggle with waiting ...and when it appeared to be overwhelming, riddled with doubt ...he also found himself in the wrong place.

While lingering at the table after a meal, I decided to offer some 'food for thought'.  The question offered was, "What do you think the main reason is that God put us here on earth?"

I got their attention, but though they usually can provide many good answers, I think they were wondering which precise answer I was fishing for.  It was actually a two-part question, and I wanted to spend more time on the second part, so I offered, "The main thing God wants for us ...is for us to be with Him in heaven."

The wisdom of children provided a question that made me think my question was rather silly, "Then why didn't God put us there, instead of here?"

It took me a moment to consider what I was going to say, "Well, it was kind of that other way with the angels.  And I don't know much about angels, but I know they are quite powerful ...so, when one third of them decided they wanted to be part of a division, I imagine it was no longer very peaceful.  So, to restore peace, there had to be a separation."
